signed. sealed. and soon to be delivered...

For the past eight months, the Red Fawkes team has been sourcing materials, networking with local vendors, trekking through rain and mud for the perfect photographs and single-handedly, financially supporting the Starbucks off of MacArthur.  Many late nights.  Too many early mornings.  Lots of trial and error and plenty of conversations around photo emulsion.  We ended up blindfolding Rachel so her touch senses would be heightened when selecting the hand for the apparel material.  The blindfold was very much an, 'ay - yes grasshopper' move and more for kicks, but completely fun.  And fun is what keeps us moving forward.  Last weekend we were sketching on the couch and Campbell passed out with pen in hand.  I looked over and the woman was out cold.  That's dedication.

So all the sweat, laughs, muscle strains, migraines and high phone bills amounted to this beautiful little packet you see above.  This was sent off to the selection boards for local art shows.  We hope that between the German blessing and the Choctaw priestess dance - our work is positively received and accepted.  Funny how all our designs, and endless labors of love, fit so neatly in an 11x8 envelope.  Such is life.
